3 Day Service Dog Seminar in Orlando: Oct 22-24, 2021

We’re hosting a 3 Day Service Dog Seminar in Orlando, Florida (at the beautiful Embassy Suites Hotel on I-Drive) from October 22nd – 24th with both Working and Audit Slots available, and an optional Disney Trip with the Service Dogs on October 25th for anyone who’d like to have some additional fun!
Each day will consist of the teams with Working Spots participating in about 4 to 5 varied concepts per day, with in-person support and feedback given. As well as engaging discussions and professional demonstrations in between. Those who are Auditing In-Person will be able to actively participate in discussions, ask questions, observe working teams, and take notes.
We have been working extensively on creating a curriculum that is not only informative, but engaging and FUN! This is quite possibly the first and only Service Dog Training Seminar to have EVER been offered, and has already attracted many teams across the US.
Our goal is to provide an affordable avenue to those who are interested in gaining a wide array of knowledge from a highly qualified, professional Service Dog Trainer within a short amount of time. The curriculum (see below) has been thoughtfully planned so that members can sign up for the day(s) that they feel will bring them the utmost benefit.

Auditing Spot (per person/handler): $150 per day or $400 for all 3 days
Working Team Spot (per team): $250 per day or $700 for all 3 days

DAY 1 – Friday 10/22 – Service Dog Obedience
- Training Foundations
- Obedience & Public Access Training
- Tucking (Fitting into Small Spaces, Under Tables/Legs, etc.)
- Precision Heelwork for Service Dogs
- Calm, Confident Stays

DAY 2 – Saturday 10/23 – Psychiatric Task Training
- Behavior or Night Terror Interruption
- Behavior Response
- Pressure Therapy
- Intelligent Disobedience
- Crowd Control (Circling, Blocking, & Targeted Blocking)

DAY 3 – Sunday 10/24 – Advanced Task Training
- Platform/Target Training
- Guidework (Following a Designated Person, Guiding to an Exit)
- Finding a Designated Person
- Retrieval Tasks (Holds, Retrieves, and Finding a Designated Item)
