This cutie patootie Standard Poodle puppy got his name as a result of our very first interaction together. Since they were teeny tiny, Pavlov and his littermates were conditioned to scent samples that were collected during my migraines. On the day I met Pavlov, at 6.5 weeks old, he was one of the puppies who demonstrated the strongest response when I unpredictably happened to come down with a migraine episode during what was supposed to be the puppies’ temperament evaluations.
Given what we know about Pavlov, it’s very possible that he would do well as a Medical Alert/Response prospect. In addition to his keen nose, he has also shown himself to be biddable, an independent thinker, and a strong problem solver.
Like Iris (who we introduced yesterday), Pavlov is one of our Raise and Train prospects. He will be with us for some time as we continue to work with him and hack into some of his super dog skills!
His breeder is a Dog Groomer, so Pavlov will not only get to see her regularly for professional grooming, but he will also be rocking some color every now and then. In the meantime, he wanted to show off his cool purple tail!
